BOOMER 2 2 4 8 48 50kw Sheild Charger follows in the footsteps of it's brother, by slaying the Ochre Ogre's brother!  Demonstrating that nothing beats random, rampant violence, Sheild Charger get's invited to speak before the military scholars of the world.  When it is mentioned that it's name is mispelled, Charger kills everyone within a 4 block radius - forcing people throw their dictionary's in the trash.  All hail 50kw Sheild Charger!

n2:
I guess Captain Action
didn't watch last week's
fights.  He would have
noticed this bug.  His left
arm gets stuck on the
floor.  RC SharpEdge
loses track, and seems
to wander about in
confusion.  I love this
fight.  It's interresting to
watch the AI at work.
Anyway, SharpEdge had
easy pickin's if he could
have found the stuck
Charger.
[2]
n2:
Dark Knight comes out
with a great first hit:
taking off Charger's arm.
As we've seen before,
Charger doesn't seem to
mind fighting with only
one arm...
[3]
n2:
This fight is raging!  The
gorilla got through
Charger's helmet dome,
and was one more hit
away from the win...
[4]
n2:
Vandal goes straight for
SharpEdge's throat, but
SharpEdge just takes
Vandal apart.
[5]
n2:
I'm still not to the point
of being able to say
anything even PG-rated
about this fight.  Maybe
some day, after I stop
bashing my head against
the wall.  :D
[6]
n2:
Another violent mauling
at the mits of the gorilla.
The fight vs Charger is
sure to be good!
[7]
n2:
8 second Kill.  New
record.  FEAR this bot!
[8]
n2:
Predator is saved by the
loss of his energy supply.
The missus lets him live
to fight again.
[9]
n2:
This is loads of fun to
watch.  Sure didn't go
the way I expected...
[10]
n2:
This ended up being a
stand off fight.
[11]
n2:
Though not a very
violent fight, it's my
favorite.  Lots of
movement and
positioning going on
between these two bots.
Ant gets to throw an
elbow shot or two in as
well.  So happy to finally
have the elbow problem
solved. :D
[12]
n2:
Nothing special, but I did
see a random move from
Ant that I can use in the
next tourney as an
actual attack method.
[13]
n2:
Ant likes to dance around
a lot.  I'm already getting
annoyed with it.  At least
he gets a good hit in now
and then.
[14]
n2:
Ah, the 41k grudge
match!  Bad luck for
gladiator9 this time.  It
loses it's arm early and
while it was leading in
points.  At least it again
proves itself almost
impossible to kill.
[15]
n2:
Scissors kept getting
stuck on Warder.  Not
the best place to be
when Warder gets it's
arms going.
[16]
n2:
gladiator9 goes for the
shoulder.  Trinny runs
out of juice, and starts losing parts.
[17]
n2:
This fight was SEVERE!
Best of the tourney!
I was on the edge of my
seat toward the end, as
gladiator9 kept trying to
hit Chargers controller.
The ending came so
unexpectedly that I had
to watch it all over again.
Check it out!
[18]
n2:
Shield Charger used to
have at least ONE weak
spot.  Not any more.  He
spent on armor in just
the right places.  Sucks
to be the rest of us, I
think.
[19]
n2:
I hate all deadlock bots
with seething fury.  Ah,
but whatcha gonna do?
He broke my toy, and
now I just hope he goes
on to break everyone
else's.  ;)
[20]
n2:
These two bots couldn't
be MORE different.  It's
a great fight.  "Don't fear
the reaper", says
Charger, and presses in
for a savage fight.
[21]
n2:
Swordsman kept pinning
Batter Up with pressing
attacks.  Looked bad until
some good hits got
through.  Times like this,
I'm glad he's swingin' a
GROND.
[22]
n2:
Great fight!  Defender's
upgraded energy supply
really improves it's ability
to run away! :D
[23]
n2:
Lots of movement.
Deathscythe gets in one
powerfull hit, and then
dances out of range.
Really interresting to
watch Kent's movement
on his bot.
[24]
n2:
Microbellator couldn't get
it's weapons to bear on
the dancing Defender.
Defender, on the other
hand, had the advantage
of his torso turret.
Microbellator is a tough
design, and shows it can
take a punch and keep
coming.
[25]
n2:
This was a surprise.  I
I just didn't expect it.
[26]
n2:
This seemed a stalemate
fight at first.  The win
was sudden and fatal.
[27]
n2:
OK, I have no idea what
BOOMER has going on
with his AI, but it's quite
a surprise here.  How
does Defender know?
What the heck
happened?  Someone
please tell me!
[28]
n2:
Upset match!  You just
never know what type of
bot you're going to come
up against.
[29]
n2:
Scissors gets a good snag on 1468's sword arm.
[30]
n2:
The eternal grudge
match - again!  This time
from different sides.
Great fight!  Warder also
demonstrates that it's
almost impossible to kill,
but through a different
technique.  Cool either
way.
[31]
n2:
Same bots, different
fight.  Gladiator9 ends up
rummaging around inside
Trinny's torso, like he's
looking for something.
[32]
n2:
Whoops!
[33]
n2:
Close fight, but Scissors isn't changed since last week.  Some AI tweaks would make a difference.
[34]
n2:
Is it just me, or does
Warder seem ANGRY in
this fight?
[35]
n2:
Microbellator is an evil
little bot with a vicious
attack.  Something to
worry about after some
tweaking.
Of course Warder is an
evil BIG bot with a vicious
attack.  We already
worry about it.
[36]
n2:
Microbellator (what does
that MEAN?) pulls a smart
move and circles
dawnbot.  Slick work for
a missus win.
